As our desire to increase brand awareness, from July 3, 2020, Vingroup Big Data Institute officially changed the brand identity: including the abbreviation and the representative logo.
Accordingly, the old abbreviation name (VinBDI) will be replaced by VinBigdata. The term “Big Data” appearing directly is the affirmation and emphasis of our research activities. Focusing on four main areas in Big Data including Computational Biomedical, Medical Image Processing, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing, Vingroup Big Data Institute aims to form the basis for Vietnam’s sustainable development by utilizing Vietnam resources and world-class technology. In addition, with “Big Data” which is one of the keywords during the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we hope to increase brand awareness, thereby expanding our positive influence to the society.
Since the change of abbreviation name, the Institute’s official logo will be adjusted to ensure unified branding. In which, the red prefix represents Vingroup spiritual inheritance: always be determined in every action to create “a better life for Vietnamese people”.The blue suffix affirms the Institute’s vision to become the largest research center of Science, Technology and Data in Vietnam.
The decision to change brand identity is evidence proving our initiative in making innovation and creativity, all is for turning the mission and vision into reality. VinBigdata, a new name, but is always steadfast: “Technology empowers the future”.
