Vingroup Big Data Institute (VinBigdata) was established by Vingroup in August 2018, aiming to conduct high-impact research on important areas of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The institute promotes fundamental research as well as investigating novel and highly-applicable technologies. VinBigdata is seeking experienced applicants for the position of Senior Android Developer as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Develop Android applications and libraries utilizing cutting-edge AI technologies running on various platforms such as camera, smartphone, smart tv, smart car and other smart devices.
- Participate in discussions to design, develop, and maintain apps.
- Work closely with other team members to integrate new AI models, backend APIs, UI/UX, and functionalities.
- Optimize apps and libraries that run on edge devices for speed, memory and energy efficient.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules
- Responsible for researching and evaluating new and relevant technologies and techniques for mobile
- Write high-quality codes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in mobile development (Android)
- Proficient in programming language like Java or Kotlin (Android)
- Understanding of Android design principles and work well with Android Studio
- Familiar with architectural design patterns (MVP, MVC, MVVM)
- Experience with AI/Computer Vision/Image Processing applications on server or edge-device is a plus.
- Experience with mobile deep learning platforms (CoreML or TensorFlow Lite) is an advantage
- Knowledge in Swift or Objective-C (iOS) is a plus
- Experience using Jira and follow Scrum process
- Good English skills
