VinBigData Joint Stock Company was established in September 2021 as the result of Vingroup Big Data Institute’s scientific research achievements in Artificial Intelligence (especially in imaging analysis and language processing). We are currently looking for Senior Product Manager to join the Center for Virtual Assistant Technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own the lifecycle of AI products including AI Platform, Virtual Assistant and Conversational AI solutions. Define the overall product vision and its corresponding strategy
• Conduct customer and market research, design customer-centric solutions, define and own the product roadmap and align internal teams of an organization to create, launch, and maintain AI products/solutions in the market
• Create simple, intuitive yet efficient user experiences for complex AI platform features
• Responsible for analyzing various product performance metrics, prioritizing customer needs, providing feedback to the internal teams to enhance user experience or introducing new features
• Prioritize decisions and tasks undertaken throughout the product life cycle
• Collaborate with team members to create a game plan that has clear, measurable success criteria, and clearly communicate progress and outcomes and make sure that everyone follows through on it
• Be the central figure that coordinates activities done by both the product team and all relevant stakeholders
• Relentlessly simplify and demonstrate significant innovation, creativity, and good judgment when solving challenging problems
• Drive best practices on the team, deal with ambiguity and competing objectives, and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
• Help teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood/documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from of the use of third-party technologies, APIs not protected/hardened, insufficient testing/gaps in QA)

Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s degree in computer science/engineering, mathematics, analytical discipline or MBA
• 5+ years experience in technical product development or proven track record of products that blow us away
• Have a good product sense, data-driven mindset, decision-making capabilities, critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Basic to demonstrated knowledge of using AI/Machine Learning to solve customer problems
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
• Analytical acumen – comfortable generating and evaluating data to guide decisions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively collaborate with research and technical teams, earn the trust of your colleagues, and influence senior stakeholders
• Ability to engage multiple technical teams to drive consistent expectations towards a shared goal
• Demonstrated experience in agile, lean startup product management processes, especially in a scaling startup
• Curious, love to explore and try new things
• Strong organizational skills.
