VinBigData Joint Stock Company was established in September 2021 as the result of Vingroup Big Data Institute’s scientific research achievements in Artificial Intelligence (especially in imaging analysis and language processing). We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Voice Assistant Center as follows:

Responsibilities

• Build and configure AI platforms on top of cloud-based or on-premise infrastructures
• Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose the issues encountered
• Maintain a scalable infrastructure to handle rapidly growing traffic
• Work closely with backend engineers to keep improving the service’s performance
• Enhance security to build a reliable service and protect against external threats
• Keep improving the development environment and process
• Collaborating with engineering teams to prepare and deploy “production-ready” solutions with high-security standards
• Implementing CI/CD pipeline across multiple types of software applications and infrastructure
• Handle code deployment in all environments
• Monitor metrics and work out improvements
• Strictly follow all processes and best practices laid out by the team as well as contributing in developing said processes
• Implement and build automation tools for streamlined deployments and systems updates
• Continuously enhance reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructures
• Keeping the systems run smoothly 24/7/365 and being ready to support on critical systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering roles
• 3+ years of experiences in cloud base infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP)
• Experience in building large-scale, secure, efficient, and resilient operations environments
• Experience with configuration and deployment management tools
• Solid knowledge of Linux / Unix system & command line interface
• In-depth experience of AWS and other cloud provider, AWS certification is a plus
• Knowledge of network & security
• Understanding of Major DevOps Tools: Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, GitLab, Istio, ELK, Jenkins, CI/CD tools,…
• Sufficient Knowledge about Different Source Control Systems
• Good knowledge of Shell script and other programing language such as Python or Go
• Good knowledge of scalable databases and storage system such as mongodb, redis, elastic search
• Good knowledge of message queue system such as kafka, rabbitmq
• Knowledge of AI concepts is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile workflow methodologies (SCRUM).
• Experience working in a 24/7/365 service environment.

• Excellent technical, organizational, analytical and documentation skills
• Proven problem solving skill and able to think about possible issues
• Ability to be flexible and assist in other areas where needed
