Vingroup Big Data Institute is a research institute founded by Vingroup. Our mission is to conduct data-driven research that helps to develop high-impact applications. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Keep improving the development environment and process.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, handle code deployment in all environments.
• Deploy and configure monitor, notification services.
• Continuously enhance reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructures.
• Develop some services at backend side.

Qualifications

• A team player.
• 3+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering roles
• 3+ years’ experience in building large-scale real-world projects.
• Tools: Git, Docker (3+ years’ experience), Ansible, Kubernetes, ELK, Jenkins, CI/CD tools (2+ years’ experience).
• Programming language: Python or one of the languages C/C ++, Java, Scala, Go.
• Databases: Mongodb, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
• Good knowledge of message queue system such as Kafka, Rabbitmq.
• Familiarity with Agile workflow methodologies (SCRUM).
• Experience working in a 24/7/365 service environment.
• Love to automate things.
• Excellent technical, organizational, analytical and documentation skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills and able to think about possible issues.
• Ability to be flexible and assist in other areas where needed.
