Vingroup Big Data Institute (VinBigdata) was established by Vingroup in August 2018, aiming to conduct high-impact research on important areas of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The institute promotes fundamental research as well as investigating novel and highly-applicable technologies. VinBigdata is seeking experienced applicants for the position of Senior Android Developer as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Build Android apps for various computer vision tasks.
• Participate in discussions to design, develop, and maintain apps.
• Work closely with other team members to integrate new AI models, backend APIs, UI/UX, and functionalities.
• Optimize apps that run on edge devices for speed, memory-and-energy-efficient.
• Write high-quality codes.

Requirenment:

• 3 years+ developing Android apps.
• Good programming skills in Java/Kotlin.
• Understanding of Android design principles and work well with Android Studio.
• Experience with AI/Computer Vision/Image Processing applications on server or edge-device is a plus.
• Experience with TensorflowLite/MLKit/MediaPipe is a plus.
• Familiar with like git, bug, and issue tracking.
• Good English skills.
