We are looking for a Scientific Coordinator to work as an essential member of a Center for Biomedical Informatics, Vingroup Big Data Institute. You will work closely and collaboratively with other members including scientists, developers, students, administrative staff, IT support and other related members to help achieve the goals of the center. These are interesting and challenging tasks at the interface between research and development in an emerging field.
Responsibilities
You will support, coordinate, and/or manage:
- Scientific collaborations and scientific collaboration contracts.
- Third party funding (proposals, planning, administration, reporting).
- Scientific visits.
- Press contacts and press releases.
- Budget planning.
- Preparation of evaluation reports.
- Preparation for steering board meetings.
- Demonstrations, external visits, presentations.
- Workshops and other internal and external events.
Requirements
- The applicant should have completed an advanced degree (Master, MD, or PhD) in life sciences, engineering and/or medical fields.
- Knowledge of standard software packages is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in organizing scientific events, budget planning for research proposal
