Vingroup Big Data Institute (VinBigdata) was established by Vingroup in August 2018, aiming to conduct high-impact research on important areas of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The institute promotes fundamental research as well as investigating novel and highly-applicable technologies. VinBigdata is seeking experienced applicants for the positions of Planning and Control Engineer as follow:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop vehicle control system for vehicle control, motion planning and path planning.
- Develop vehicle kinetics, dynamics model and behavior model under complex scenarios.
- Design and solve practical control problems through kinetics model simulation and analysis.
- Develop motion planning and path planning, including behavior planning, trajectory optimization, planning under uncertainty, data-driven methods and model-based methods.
- Develop and integrate vehicle drive-by-wire
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on working experience with behavior planning, path planning, motion planning, trajectory optimization, model predictive control, optimal control.
- Experience in computational geometry and probabilistic robotics.
- Excellent in math (geometry, linear algebra, probability), control (kinematics, dynamics), and optimal control.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Show attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements
- Familiar with ADAS and autonomous driving system
- Familiar with automotive system (component and vehicle level)
- Good communication skills in English
- Excellent in C++/C/Python programming and with robust, safety-critical, production code
- BS degree or above in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
