Vingroup Big Data Institute is a research institute founded by Vingroup. Our mission is to conduct data-driven research that helps to develop high-impact applications. We are currently looking for a highly skilled developer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Designing and developing APIs.

Qualifications

• A team player.
• Over 4 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Over 3 years of experience in building large-scale real-world projects .
• Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript (4+ years’ experience).
• Proficiency with at least one of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, VueJs (3+ years’ experience).
• Familiarity with at least one of server-side languages such as Python, Go, Java, C++ (2+ years’ experience).
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
• Tools: Git, Docker.
• Familiarity with Agile workflow methodologies (SCRUM).

• Excellent technical, organizational, analytical and documentation skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills and able to think about possible issues.
• Self-motivated, able to work under high pressure.
• Ability to work independently.
• High teamwork and responsibility sense.
