We are currently looking for a Backend Developer as follows:
Job Description
- Participate in the development process of VinDr ecosystem
- Develop new business features and building reusable components
- Explore and evaluate the practicality of new technologies to improve existing processes and/or products
- Write clean and maintainable code that is properly tested and reviewed
- Tackle challenging engineering problems in various domains
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Continuous improvement by researching new alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Basic Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- More than 1 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with using Golang, Python framework, performance tools and optimization techniques.
- Proficient in Version Control Systems
- Familiarity with application and database programming under UNIX/Linux, Web and network protocols such as: UDP/TCP, Session/Cookie, HTTP/HTTPS
- Experience with Agile/Lean (Kanban, SCRUM, RUP, XP), web services, UNIX, especially Docker, Kubernetes is advantage
- Strong understanding of fundamental algorithms and data structure
- Experience in contributing to open-source projects
- Proficient in database development such as SQL and NoSQL databases
- A willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly and get things done.
- Ability to take a complex and challenging project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.
- Be able to read and understand English documents.
