Vingroup Big Data Institute is a research institute founded by Vingroup. Our mission is to conduct data-driven research that helps to develop high-impact applications. We are currently looking for a Hardware/embedded engineer as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded hardware and firmware for electric vehicles: Make development schedule, make samples, perform testing and implement with actual vehicle.
- Build hardware specification and documentation of the design
- Perform hardware bring-up of initial prototypes
- Resolve any issues concerning electronic products or printed circuit board, work along with software teams
- Collaborate with software to validate the performance of components, subsystems, as well as of the complete Electric Vehicle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of electronic components and circuit design.
- Ability to use electrical analysis tools including oscilloscopes, multi-meters…
- Experience in debugging and resolving hardware issues.
- Knowledge of Electric vehicle system
- Knowledge of Control Area Network (CAN).
- Knowledge of battery-powered electric vehicles and powertrains.
- Experience in PCB/circuit design and simulation tools, preferred Altium, Matlab…
- Experience PCB design follow ISO 26262 for automotive.
- Experience with DC motor controls and power electronics.
- Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical environments.
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work under high challenge environment
- Experience of electric vehicle drive units.
- Experience in lithium-ion battery.
- Experience with DC motor controls and power electronics.
- Knowledge of control algorithms
