Vingroup Big Data Institute is a newly research institute funded by Vingroup – the largest enterprise located in Hanoi, Vietnam. Our mission is to conduct data-driven research that helps to develop high-impact applications. We are currently looking for researchers to join Computer Vision team as follow:

Responsibilities:

• Research the latest modeling techniques in text image processing (Object Detection, Text recognition, Text Detection, Information Extraction, etc.).
• Build and optimize cutting-edge OCR systems.
• Implement OCR models (Information Extraction, Document Understanding, etc.) and applications.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Machine Learning/Computer Science
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow
• Ability to implement text image recognition tasks in scripting languages C/C++, and Java
