Vingroup Big Data Institute (VinBigdata) was established by Vingroup in August 2018, aiming to conduct high-impact research on important areas of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The institute promotes fundamental research as well as investigating novel and highly-applicable technologies. VinBigdata is seeking experienced applicants for the positions of Simulation Engineer as follow:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain simulation systems per development needs and validation requirements.
- Integrate perception, mapping, localization, planning and control algorithm in 3D virtual environment.
- Build tools to analyze empirical data and simulated scenarios.
- Collect test results and help root cause analysis.
- Support developing vehicle dynamics model and sensor behavior model under complex scenarios.
Preferred Skills
- Capable of developing sensor simulation models, including radar, camera, lidar or others.
- Familiar with systems engineering principles, hardware and software design concepts
- Knowledge in ROS, and/or Drive OS, Linux kernel.
- Knowledge in real-time testing environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Hands-on working experience with simulation tool
- Familiar with automotive system (component and vehicle level)
- Familiar with automotive software and ADAS
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Excellent in C++/C/Python programming and with robust, safety-critical, production code
- BS degree or above in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
