Vingroup Big Data Institute (VinBigdata) was established by Vingroup in August 2018, aiming to conduct high-impact research on important areas of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The institute promotes fundamental research as well as investigating novel and highly-applicable technologies. VinBigdata is seeking experienced applicants for the positions of Speech Researcher & Engineer as follows:
1, Researcher in Speech
Responsibilities:
- Research the latest modeling techniques in speech processing (speech recognition, speech synthesis, speech enhancement, speaker identification, noise reduction, beamforming, etc.).
- Build and optimize cutting-edge spoken language interaction systems.
- Implement speech processing models and applications.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Speech/Audio/Signal Processing or Machine Learning/Computer Science
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow
- Ability to implement speech processing tasks in scripting languages and C/C++.
- Experience in some speech processing frameworks
- Experience in speech data processing for ASR, TTS etc.
2, Engineer in Speech
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and optimize deep learning models such as automatic speech recognition and/or speech synthesis.
- Work with researchers on extending and improving components of speech understanding systems.
Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science
- Experience working on deep/machine learning models
- Experience working on speech processing models such as automatic speech recognition and/or speech synthesis
- Proficiency in Python, c/c++, java and familiar with machine learning frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow
