Vingroup Big Data Institute is a new research institute funded by Vingroup – the largest enterprise located in Hanoi, Vietnam. Our mission is to conduct data-driven research that helps to develop high-impact applications. We are currently looking for researchers to join the speech and language processing team as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Research the latest modeling techniques in speech processing (speech recognition, speech synthesis, speech enhancement, speaker identification, etc.).
• Build and optimize cutting-edge spoken language interaction systems.
• Implement/deploy speech/AI models (ASR, TTS, etc.) and applications for embedded system (MCU, ARM,..).

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Speech/Audio/Signal Processing or Machine Learning/Computer Science
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow or C++
• Ability to implement speech processing tasks in scripting languages and C/C++.
• Ability to deploy speech tasks/models or AI model on embedded systems (ARM, Pi, MCU).
• Experience in some speech processing or AI frameworks.
• Experience in speech data processing for ASR, TTS etc.
• Experience in developing AI application for embedded systems.
